“In-bloomers” and Church volunteers have been busy transforming a moss covered strip of ground on the north side of St. Botolph’s Church into a haven for bees.

The shaded area has been a persistent problem, resisting several attempts to revive it.
Angie Kisby, the Stump’s fabric manager, asked the Bloom team for help and following advice from local company Growing Wild, the border has been cleared and sown with an urban bee mixture.
Expert advice is that the seeds selected are for plants which will tolerate the challenging conditions.
