After a year in position, time has come to remove the bird boxes from their position outside St. Botolph’s Church.
The birdboxes, built by students at Boston College and installed in June 2017 ahead of the judging, were today removed from their position and were put into storage, ahead of being installed on the Urban Meadow later in the year.
Despite the cold temperatures, Boston in Bloom members Paul Collingwood and Bridget Sykes spent the morning digging up the removal from the grounds of the church in anticipation for a new theme for the Boston in Bloom 2018 season, featuring a special memorial commemorating the 100th anniversary of the cease of World War 1.
